What the heck is a heat conductometer? Well, a heat conductometer is used for comparing the thermal conductivity of five metals: aluminum, brass, steel, nickel, and copper. The 5 spokes radiate from a brass hub. Each rod is marked on the rods. There are notches in each rod to hold the wax, which is an essential tool for testing the thermal conductivity.
